Tasting Notes:
"The smallest of our Oak Knoll Vineyards, Epps Vineyard is just under two acres of stony, loam acres with excellent drainage and produces about four barrels of wine per year. Black raspberries, blackberries, and Bing cherry aromas are punctuated with notes of dried leather, savory tobacco, and sweet oak. This Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a lean texture with commanding acidity and a mid-palate weight that seamlessly transitions from soft to broad. Aged in 85% new French oak. Only 150 cases produced."

Vintage Notes:
Mild temperatures created an ideal start to the 2020 growing season, with moderate winter rainfall contributing to an early bud break. The Cabernet Sauvignon crop was marked by small berries with powerful structure and concentrated flavors. Warm summer conditions were buffered by cool mornings heading into the harvest season, promoting evenhanded flavors and structure across our Cabernet Sauvignon estates.
